Perform-up Tennis, your mental gym at your fingertips able to enhance your mental skills and develop your personal well-being. The application was built considering the recent scientific research of Sports Psychology, Positive Psychology and Mental Training.The exercises in the application will gradually teach you to master the three fundamental techniques of mental training: breathing, relaxation and mental visualization.The weekly training program will allow you to integrate technical, tactical and physical training with mental training. Each week you will find different exercises that will help you strengthen your mental strength.Breathing and Relaxation are the protagonists of the mental training weeks. Through these exercises you will learn to control your emotions on and off the pitch, you will be able to manage stress by recovering your energy. You will become more aware of your abilities, your feelings and emotions. The ability to control your body will help you improve your focus.The mental visualization exercises have a dedicated part called: “Improve your tennis”. This technique will allow you to consolidate the motor gesture in the memory and in the long term, strengthen the strokes, review game actions and thus improve your concentration on the pitch.By accessing the app you will enter your personal information (age, gender, dominant arm and tennis category), these will allow the app to customize your weekly training path.You can continue with the mental training weeks once you have finished the exercises of the previous week. The time required for exercise ranges from 3 minutes to about 15 minutes. During the first few weeks of mental training the exercises will have a short duration of about 3-4 minutes in a single exercise for a maximum of 4 exercises per week.
